If you don’t have time to create your own cut files to use with your Silhouette, Cricut, Scan n Cut, or other digital craft cutting machine, check out these bundles for pre-made designs perfect for Dad.

Dad Cut File Bundle – From t-shirts to mugs to greeting cards, this bundle has a lot of great Dad designs.

Camping Cut File Bundle – 120 Cut files for camping and the great outdoors for less than 8 cents each. Perfect for t-shirts, mugs, sign making, campsite flag, camping bucket, car decals, so many uses. My email subscribers received a 15% off coupon code for this bundle. Just reply to one of my emails if you would like the code too!

Gift Basket

Gift baskets are a great way to personalize gifts. You can put a vinyl name, design, or monogram on a bucket, tray, tote, etc. and add a collection of similar items or just items you know Dad would love.

Below are some categories of gifts to think about adding and some suggestions.

Car Wash Supplies

Car Wash Kit – The next best thing to driving the car is keeping the car clean. High quality products are important for protecting the vehicle.
The grit guard is super important for keeping dirt in the wash water and not on the wash mitt. The dispenser has a quick release nozzle that attaches to your hose and creates a thick foam to cover the whole car to start lifting the dirt away. (This stuff smells great too).

Beer Gifts

You can get an inexpensive metal bucket and add a vinyl design (like one of the ones from the Dad or camping bundles above) or a simple monogram to create a gift basket.
Fill the bucket with Dad’s favorite beer and snacks and you can add some of these…

Etched Beer Mugs – You can find nice beer mugs and pint glasses at Dollar Tree. You can get etching creme from Amazon if you have time, or from a craft store like Michaels, or Joann (use a coupon!)

  1. Cut a stencil out of adhesive vinyl – Using vinyl for stencils is a good opportunity to use colors your don’t use often. I recommend Oracal 651 for stencils because you want the vinyl to stick to your smooth surface really well so the etching cream doesn’t seep under. You can’t remove the etch.
  2. Apply to a glass mug or glass.
  3. Apply etching cream and let set for about 15 minutes.
  4. Wash off, remove the vinyl and you have a personalized mug.

Coffee Gifts

You can make him a new personalized coffee mug, get him his favorite coffee and syrups, and add a gift card to his favorite coffee or donut shop.

Enamel Coffee Travel Mug – Enamel mugs are super popular and this one is modern version of the classic. It’s just asking for a vinyl decal isn’t it?

Peet’s Espresso Nespresso Pods – If Dad has a Nespresso machine, there are now compatible espresso capsules for the Nespresso machine that are made by other companies. Our favorite is the Peet’s Crema Sucre. You can also buy assortment packs if you want to try a few different brands.

Camping Gifts and Outdoor Games

DIY Light-up Camping Bucket – These look super awesome at a campsite or just in your backyard!

  1. Get a 5 gallon white bucket and lid from Home Depot or Walmart.
  2. Apply a large camping themed vinyl design (like the bundle above).
  3. Put a bright LED light inside the bucket and close the lid. This LED light is available on Amazon and I have bought one from Harbor Freight too. They are super bright.

Outdoor games – Confession time: I am not good at Frisbee. That is until my mom got a light up Frisbee. Total game changer. We had such a blast playing with the light up Frisbee and Badminton Birdies after dark, last time we went camping. They would also be fun in the yard at home, or at a park.
The light really helps you “keep your eye on the ball” so to speak.

Household Gifts

Personalized Hammer – Add a vinyl saying to the handle of a hammer for a decorative item to display in the shop or garage. He can use the hammer but the vinyl may wear off over time. Harbor Freight has nice hammers with a smooth handle or this one on Amazon has a nice smooth handle too.

Some sayings you could add to a hammer:

  • When it comes to being a great dad, you nailed it!
  • Dad, thank you for helping us build our lives.
  • Dad, we love building memories with you.
Personalized hammer that says Dad, we love building memories with you.

Battery Storage and Tester – This thing is genius! It is a gift that can pay for itself by keeping batteries organized and allowing you to test battery life so you don’t waste them. What dad wouldn’t love the sensibility of that.
This is the Battery storage organizer that I have and it is great! There are different styles of cases available, including fire proof ones.

Grilling Gifts

Apron – Personalize a plain apron with Heat Transfer Vinyl to let everyone know dad is the king of the grill. The possibilities are endless. As mentioned above, I have a free cut file available for my email subscribers in my Free Resource Library.

Meat Claw – Part dad, part Wolverine. These tools make shredding and lifting meat easy.

Grilling Kit – Personalize a tray for Dad to carry his gear out to the grill. Then buy and DIY some accessories.

  • Personalized Oven Mitt
  • Personalized Kitchen Towel
  • BBQ tools
  • Sauce Bottles
  • Special condiments and hot sauce

Personal and Grooming Gifts

Watch and Jewelry Case – Add a name or monogram to the top of the case. Etched look vinyl would be a nice touch.

Manicure Set – It is Dad’s not yours.

Beard/Hair Trimmer

Baby Yoda

I have a whole list specifically for Baby Yoda Merchandise. Some of them are available to ship quickly, some are still on pre-order.
Two of the items I am most looking forward to are the Animatronic Baby Yoda that is set to ship in time for Christmas, and the life like (because he is real right?) statue from Sideshow Collectibles. Click here to see those items and the whole list.
Click here to see the articulated Baby Yoda pictured above from Sideshow that should ship in time for NEXT Father’s Day. Spendy, but sooo Cute!

Make him, or get him something great!

Best,

Megan
